Busyyyyyyyy

Oh my.
Today was a busy day.
And I currently have a terrible headache.
I have so much to be doing (aka: paper to write, a room to clean, laundry to put away, reading to be done...) but I don't have the energy, motivation, or non-headache to do it.

I went class this morning.
Got a little frazzled from texts from my mom about passports. (Sidenote to the story: Kyle and I went to apply for me to get a passport on Friday. Woman said I needed a state issued ID [read: drivers license], said I didn't have one but I had all these other forms of ID. Woman said I needed my mom to come in and sign for me. Left. Then realized that my mom does not have my same last name anymore, and is not a US citizen). Sooo, my mom had been calling around to different post offices and DMV's, whatever. All of them told her a different thing. Finally, she got ahold of Mae. Mae works at a post office doing passport applications. Mae has known us since I was a tiny toddler. Mae said everyone else was lame, and to come on down again and it would work.
So.
I went to work. There I had a situation (aka: a student called in with a problem that took me about 6 phone calls and 50 minutes to solve). Then I left early to go to the post office with my mom.
At the post office, we stood in line for about 40 minutes. Got yelled at that we were too late and had to come back another day. Finally got to Mae, processed my application.
Check.
Then, Mom and I went to DMV because we figured while we had all the stuff I needed, I might as well apply for an ID card. Stood in line, waited in chairs, finally got everything squared away, and I am now the proud holder of a Utah (temporary) ID card.
(Also, verified with DMV employee that I do not have to retake Driver's Ed, just the written and road test, and then, wallah! I have a license). License will be coming soon.... This summer!

So that was my day.
I came home, sat around, ate, took some pills, and maybe I now have the energy to do something. Although my two Advil's haven't taken away my headache yet. Boo.

That is way to ironic. I am so glad you got everything figured out...ridiculous. Where are you guys going on your honeymoon?!
