Hands Touch, Eyes Meet.

First, let's get my happy, Caleb stories out of the way, so I can maybe concentrate on other things, haha. Since my last post he was here 2 times, once for 5 days, and one for 4. It was great to be with him and spend time together. We went to the Zoo, and to Color Me Mine and hiked to Timp Caves. He's just soo good to me. Example, hiking to the caves. I'm not in the best shape, I may be thin, yes, but I am not that active of a person... Which is (hopefully) going to change. (More on my goals later). So he was great, asking me if I was doing ok while we were hiking. Stopping for me to take a rest, get my water etc. Example 2, my mood swings. It's not like I'm the most ornery person in the world, I'm actually quite a happy person :) But with July 30 getting closer and closer, and our time together dwindling, I am prone to 'the mood.' This 'mood' can range from being close to tears at any mention of leaving, or love or sometimes even marriage, to getting upset with Caleb just for making a joke or taking too long to do something for me. Yet, Caleb is his great and patient self, and calms me down, and when I apologize for it later, or try to explain myself, all he says is, "It's ok Britt, I understand." Even when I start crying on his shoulder, he just holds me and tells me it will be ok. (Which sometimes makes me madder as I try to convince him it's NOT going to be ok... I know, I'm such an optimist. Haha.) Basically the moral of the story is, Caleb is the most amazing person, who is so patient with me and loves me despite of everything. While hiking the caves I devised this definition of love - Love is loving someone even as they are dripping in sweat, and holding their hand even though its 90 degrees plus outside :) ... See image below.
Now, I need to write down my goals for this next year, as they are something I have been thinking about a lot lately.
First, I need to continue to work on my spirituality. Everyone needs to I know, and I definitely do. To continue working on my habit of daily scripture reading, journal writing and praying. As well as acts of service and kindness. I've been working on developing charity for a few years now, and it has gone well. I of course want to keep working on that. The two most important things for me to work on right now is virtue and charity. ... Having the Spirit with me everyday, and not just having it, but using it, listening to it daily.
Second, I want to develop my homemaking skills, especially cooking and cleaning. And finally scrapbooking. And I've been in the mood to do needlepoint/cross stitch work lately, sort of weird, but hey, it's a good thing to do :) With the cooking, I definitely need to cook more. Last year, I hardly ever made myself good, healthy meals. I just did the fast, easy meals. But hello, I have a crockpot, and I know to cook. And I have time (.. cutting back on naps..) to do so. So, I need to. Plain and simple. I need to learn to enjoy how to clean, and not just think about it, DOING IT! And scrapbooking.. Well I always want to do it. So I am going to. No excuses.
Third, I need to work out. Stay in shape. I dance at schoo, but not hard core like I used to, and I haven't been in 'good' shape since my senior year when I was dancing every day for hours. I should go the gym, go running, etc. LOVE MY BODY :) ... And eat healthy, which goes with the aforementioned cooking goal.
In one word, I am a PROCRASTINATER. That is the main thing I need to work on.
Those are my main goals to work on this next year of college, of course, along with keeping up to date on my school work and getting good grades. I slipped a little my freshman year, not majorly, but I can definitely do better, I know I can.
Now that I have spilled my heart out on this incredibley long post, I hope you got some sort of enjoyment out of reading it. And as a side note, me and Caleb have been together 14 months today, Aaron has been gone 7 1/2 months, and Collin 2 months :) Both of them are doing wonderfully, I love them and am so proud of them.
Caleb too. Love, Pride, Awe. Those are some good words for how I feel about him :)

Summer 2008

Well... So much for partying this summer.. Haha.

Not much has been going on. I'm working full time at Seven Peaks. It's fun there, but it can get a little bit crazy at times. I really like (most) of the people I work with, so that is way fun. I am also enjoying feeling like I am saving up money! (Although, I do enjoy spending money too..) I haven't been buying that much stuff. And I'm glad I can have the chance to work full time and save money. I especially love that I get a .25 raise every 50 hours.. Life is good.

What else?? Not much. I hang out sometimes, but I usually just crash at home and talk to Caleb. Speaking of, he comes home tomorrow! So that is exciting.. He's liking it out there, working with his dad.

I'm writing a billion missionaries right now, or so it seems. Haha. I swear, I always have more I need to catch up and write too. My friend Sean comes home this month, I think. (Obviously I haven't written him for a while... ) Trevor comes home in September, and Dane in October! This is all so crazy. I don't feel old enough to know people that are COMING HOME from missions! Weird. I also can't believe I have been graduated for a year, that I turn 19 this year, and that I am a sophomore at BYU. Sometimes I have to stop and think about it... I went to my cousin's wedding this past weekend. I'm the baby cousin, and 21 he is the cousin right above me. Now that he's married, it leaves me and my 24 year old cousin Marisa. So crazy, I remember us all playing as little kids. I also can't believe all the people I know that are getting married, and/or having kids!! They only just graduated the same year as me! As much as it would be nice (?) to be married... I know that I am NOT ready at all to be married, let alone have kids. As 'baby hungry' as I am. Ha. Other peoples kids are great, I can play with them all I want, but I don't have to be an actual mother. That is definitely something that can wait a while... A long while.

Hmmm. I am soo excited to live with Dani next year, oh my heck. I can't wait!! Oh, my camera recently died. Me and Whitney were taking pictures, and she dropped it and the screen basically shattered. So.. Time to go shopping for a new one... Good thing Caleb is coming and can awe me with his electronical knowledge, haha.

I am not sure what else I can write... My life is quite boring... I miss dance. And I need new books to read, I've read about 5 this summer already, haha. So I guess that's about all.
Loves.
